Cooks has proven to us to be a network of doctors that care more about statistics, numbers, following required procedures they were taught to go by with every child, getting their notes into system perfected etc. rather than spending time to really listen and understand your child's unique needs. We worked with few of their doctors/nurses in different departments (not only pediatrics) and all of these doctors/nurses spend little time to really to get to know your child and none of them can think outside of the box that sometimes is very important to really help a child that has unique needs. Some of their nurses are very insensitive as well. We also found that some of their doctors lack certain knowledge that other doctors outside of Cooks possess in their field. They are so quick to assume things and generalize without really learning what your child needs in order to get better. Everything about Cooks is so robotic and your child is simply just another number in their list. Not every child is the same and that is how they approach your child. Their doctors failed several times to provide proper recommendations and care for our child. Other doctors outside of Cooks finally figured out the issue we were struggling for months with Cooks. These doctors outside of Cooks has questioned some of Cooks recommendations. Cooks has made many mistakes that cost us not only a lot of money in expensive medical procedures and tests but above all it cost our child a LOT of stress that could have been easily avoided. We wish we never went with Cooks in the first place. their high reviews online has tricked us. We would never recommend Cooks to anyone that is looking for a doctor/medical professional that is willing to get to know your child better and is able to think outside of the box if needed.
